About Us
Hope Cove Gallery was founded in April 2007 by Jonathan Woolfenden an established artist and Christopher Povey a qualified Architect.
Both of us wanted to develop an art space that would fuel our passion for Art and Design. We wanted the gallery to be accessible to those that call the South Hams home, as well as those who visit the area.
We are lucky enough to be situated in one of the most stunning coastal locations in the South Hams. Hope Cove offers sheltered sandy beaches, allowing easy access to the water for boating, snorkling or just soaking up the sun ! We are surrounded by breathtaking scenery, and served handsomely by several restaurants and the historic Hope & Anchor Pub.
